Super Saturday

I have no pictures. Which is the only rotten part of this wonderful weekend. As is our new tradition, we began our weekend with some waffles hot off our new waffle iron!! Yee-ummm. And then we made our mad dash to Maxi's soccor practice. Maxi practiced passing and ended practice with a small game. He mostly runs with the crowd, but at the end finally caught on that he should try and kick the ball himself. He's a very non-aggressive person. We'll definately have to tweek the competitive spirit!! But it was all super cute. Afterwards we all played in the park-mostly climbing around in the trees. Our soccor park has terrific climbing trees.

Next, I went off to my monthly hair appointment. I had decided to become a brunette again, but alas, my Hairdresser-Kristen-would not do it. She said I'd hate her. So. I am still a blonde. heehee.

Next, we made our way to Max's bosses house for their annual party. The kids had a great time in their pool. We stayed till almost 9:00 pm. Then I made Max take me and the kids home. Then Max went back to play some more with the boys. This is a break-through for us-as Max NEVER socializes.

Now, we are just relaxing (Sunday) and Max is grilling some jalopeno chicken/bacon thingys. MMMMMMMMMMMMmmm. I'm starving which is why I'm not going to post any more.

Weekend Activities

Taaaaaaaaa-daaaaaaaaaaa! Who say's I'm not creative? Can you tell that I've had some down-time at work. I spend about 1/3 of my day reading Home Improvement Magazines. Ya know, just in case this is my lucky year. hahaha.

Yes. We have I wanna-move-today-and-immediately-get-a-house fever.

But, so do the kids. Maxi wants a blue house. Penny wants stairs. They're pretty easy. Maxi is also concerned about whether or not daddy will have a couch to sleep on. lol.

But seriously. Look at this chair. I should be a professional. Hold your hats. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve.!!

The Seibold's are Cookin'

So we made our neighborhood debut this afternoon. Max did all the grilling (Richard was like "you can HAVE it") and Letha's Chocolate Delight was a fan favorite!!! I would've claimed it-but I LOVE bragging on my wonderful Mother-in-law. Now if only I could get the squash casserole....

Seibold's are Cookin'...woo-hoo

So we made a successful debut at the neighborhood party. Max did all the grilling (Richard was like "you can have it!!) and everyone loved my dessert. I wanted to claim it-but I also love bragging about my WONDERFUL mother-in-law....Now if only I could figure out the Squash casserole....

Happy Memorial Day, everyone. Welcome to our blog. Excuse our excitement. We are dreaming of our future and looking forward to whereever we may be headed next. If you haven't heard, Max's trip to St. Louis was successful and it's looking like a great possibility for us. With such good options, it's hard to stay focused and open-minded about whatever interview may be next..hah. One step at a time though. Max walks this Friday and we are looking forward to the visit from the Family!!

We didn't make it home for the holiday this year for our camping fix-but a little grilling is still in our future. The neighbors are having us over for a cook-out. I' m trying Letha's famous Chocolate Delight dessert and Max will lend a hand to the burgers. We'll let you know how that turns out. That's all for now. We're throwing our hugs your way!!!!!
